Mindful Mothers Present

Motivate Yourself with Radical Self-Care

Mindful Mothers has been one of the signature classes of the Beijing Mindfulness Centre. Every Wednesday mothers gather to find space to recharge and reset their intentions as they balance multiple roles they have in lives - caregiver, provider, wife, mother, friend. And what about careers that are often put on hold due to the restrictions of expat lives in China?  
Opening the door to all (working, non-working, all genders, non-binary, all professions, at all phases of life), BMC and Mindful Mothers present how the practice of mindfulness and self-compassion has enabled them to balance pressures during the  pandemic and beyond.

Two sessions on Wednesday and Saturday will cover the same content:


  • What is self-compassion and how is it related to inner strength?

  • What are the yin and yang aspects of the practice and how they relate to motivation?

  • What can we learn during the 8-week Mindful Self-Compassion program (held in January 2021- dates to be announced)
