Performance Powered By Mindfulness - Joanna Cheung
Joanna is a certified mindfulness teacher by UC Berkeley's Greater Good Science Centre and "The Present" mindfulness programme in school. During her earlier career path in leading global sports organisations IMG and NBA, she witnessed how the mind can significantly impact our performance and change our overall well-being. That intrigued her to look deeper into how mindfulness is applied in personal and professional life, whether as a top athletic performer or those who aspire to thrive in their own career choice.
Joanna has practised mindfulness for 14 years. Since then, she has attended meditation retreats and mindfulness programmes in Asia, the US and Europe. These experiences have given her the practical tools and headspace to become a better version of herself, owning more access to calm and poise whilst switching between the many roles she plays in her personal and professional life.
She pledges to share her tools and teaching to support others in their personal and professional well-being. She offers individual and group mindfulness coaching in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
